Frederick Swadling (1892 - 1943)
My Grandfather Frederick Swadling was born in Wednesbury, Staffordshire in 1892. He was the youngest son of James Swadling and Emily Hutchings. He married my grandmother Minnie Edwards in 1916 and they had one daughter and two sons. During the First World War Frederick was in a reserved ocupation as a turner. He died at the age of 51 in 1943.

Martha Swadling (c1773-1844)
According to the 1841 census in Brightwell Baldwin, Oxon, she was born in the county. I know little about her except she married Anthony Smith in BB in 1799 and produced 4 children:
John 1801
Nellie 1802
William 1807
John 1808
I am descended from William Smith 1807 who married in the nick of time to Maria Shepherd then came to Western Australia in 1842.
Has anyone lost a Martha Swadling at all?
